Marlin, Model 1893 TAKE-DOWN, .30-30, Cal. MFG. 1912-15, SN: A4610, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' Half octagon / half round barrel, Half mag. The original wood stocks are very good & solid, as lightly sanded & refinished. There is very little wood loss & a few minor handling marks or contusions. The original metal blue finish on the barrel remains at 85% & the mag has toned mostly to a brown patina. The case-hardened receiver & lever has faded mostly gun metal gray, with small remnants of case-colors in protected areas. Bore is very good. Mounted with an adjustable rear sight & Rock Mountain front blade sight. Stock carries a crescent metal buttplate. Tight smooth action. Nice looking old lever hunting rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1500
