Marlin. Model 336 Carbine, CAL: 35 REM, MFG: 1977, SN: 23094208, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' barrel. The capped pistol grip wood stocks are very good & solid, despite an 8'' tight grain crack on the right side of the stock which emanates from the butt & ends just before the grip. The original factory finish has minor scratches, scrapes & contusions. The metal blue finish rates 98% overall, with minor handling scuffs. Bore is excellent. The receiver is fitted with a scope mount bar, while the barrel holds an adjustable rear sight & hooded blade front sight. Buttstock carries a Marlin plastic buttplate. Sling studs. Gold trigger. A great little hunting carbine in a powerful caliber. FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 800
