N. Lewis. Model: Buck & Ball. CAL: 44cal/12ga. MFG: 1860's-70's. S/N: N/A. Muzzleloader percussion. 28 1/4'' barrel. The wood stock is good with crack on left side from barrel to stock lug, hammer marked on right side barrel lug, hairline crack from left lock plate 1 3/4'' back, chip in stock by upper tang of buttplate, scratches, dents, ding & wear from use/age, hand etched into belly of stock, ''1876'', trapdoor storage on right side of stock, dark black finish is worn in spots but still remains about 50% on stock. Metal finish rates 0% with even rust brown color over all metal, rust spots & brown patina. Decorative engraving on hammers & checkering on hammers, top of barrels marked, ''N.LEWIS MAKER TROY N.Y.''. Bores are fair with rust & pitting. Front blade sight, rear buckhorn V-notch sight. Crescent buttplate with upper & lower tang, upper tang is broke off at screw. Comes with ramrod. Right hammer does not stay cocked back, right hammer appears to function properly. Muzzle loader No FFL Req. - Value: 300 to 600
