CASED, Colt, 1851 Navy Robert E. Lee Commemorative, CAL: .36 Ball, MFG: 1984, SN: 1297, Percussion Ball & Cap Revolver, 7 1/2'' barrel. The one piece walnut grips, with Robert E. Lee gold tone inlaid medallion are excellent. The frame, hammer, cylinder, barrel, barrel housing & ram rod all display gold etching, primarily an ornamental pattern. The cylinder displays a ring of stars, a house, canon, cabin, horseman with confederate flag & crest, each divided by a leaf branch. Bore is excellent & bright, with strong rifling. The backstrap, grip & trigger guard are gold plated. The barrel holds a small brass bead front sight. The hammer has a small integrated notch that acts as a rear ''sight''. Comes in a decorated wooden case, with leather inlay & decorative gilt on the lid, a blue/grey microfiber interior, silver commemorative medallion, powder tin, caps, brass balls, key to the case, & framed photo. Overall, an excellent condition commemorative set. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
