Winchester, Model 1894 SRC, CAL: 38-55, MFG: 1902, SN: 259280, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' Round barrel. Full mag. The straight grip wood stock & forend are excellent, with minor surface scrapes & small contusions to the original finish. The metal blue finish on the barrel & tube rates 85%. The receiver has mostly worn or faded to a gun metal grey, with about 20% of original blue remaining in more protected areas. Bore is excellent. The barrel holds a flip-up rear ladder sight & carbine block blade front sight. Buttstock carries a smooth carbine metal buttplate. Original saddle ring, with leather lash. Smooth tight action. A very nice original SRC in the most desired caliber. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1500 to 3000
