Winchester, Model 1890 2nd variation, .22 SHORT Cal., MFG. 1900, SN: 94873, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Octagonal barrel. Single Caliber rifle. The original straight grip wood stocks are very good, with numerous minor scuffs, scratches & contusions to the original finish. There is a small chip at the right corner of the wrist against the receiver. The original blue finish on barrel & mag rates 65%, with areas of thinned wear toning to a brown patina. The case-hardened receiver shows some outlines of the original case-colors, with a thin brown patina. The barrel carries an adjustable rear & a blade front sight. The bore is fair, with roughness & pitting amongst visible rifling. Crescent metal buttplate. Tight smooth action. A desirable & original case-hardened short caliber 1890. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1200
