Walther, Model 2 Autoloader, CAL: 22 LR, MFG: 1930's, SN: 35092K, Bolt/Semi-Auto Rifle, 20 5/8'' barrel. This is a very unique rifle, which can function as either a semi-auto or a single shot bolt action depending on where the shooter leaves the bolt placement after cocking the initial round. The original checkered round knob wood stock is good & solid, with numerous scratches, scrapes & dings. The finish has worn thin & with flaking in large areas. The stock is solid, but shows extensive wear. The metal blue finish rates 90% on barrel & receiver, with small scuffs, scrapes & light speckling. The finish rates 50% on trigger guard & has toned to a brown patina. Bore is excellent. The barrel holds a three distance folding leaf rear sight & elevated bead front sight. Stock carries a Walther checkered black plastic buttplate. Sling loops present. Detachable mag. Not many people have seen or heard of these automatic carbines as they are seldom seen in the U.S. market. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 300 to 600
