Colt, Cloverleaf House Model, CAL: 41RF, MFG: 1874, SN: 6192, Single Action 4 Shot Revolver, 3'' barrel. The top of the barrel is faintly marked ''+COLT'S HOUSE PISTOL/HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.+'' and ''PAT. SEP.19. 1871'' in the rear sight groove. The full SN is stamped on the butt & barrel. The original birds head wood grips are excellent, with minor scuffs & small spots of flaking finish. The metal finish on the barrel has worn to metal grey & brown patina, with remnants of blue in the pitting. The brass frame is silver finished, retaining 80% coverage. The cylinder has fully toned to a smooth brown patina. Hammer is blued. Bore is good, with roughness & pitting. The barrel holds a small blade front sight. Perhaps the most unusual & distinctive of the early Colt revolvers. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 3000
