EXTREMELY RARE, CASED, Colt, Anaconda, CAL: .44 Magnum/44 Special, MFG: 1996, SN: MM92835, Double Action Revolver, 5'' barrel. The Colt Anaconda was introduced in 1990, in caliber 44 Mag & 45 Colt to compete in the popular large-bore Magnum pistol market. The Anaconda was built on the new & heavier large ''MM''-frame & was only produced in stainless steel, with different finishes available. This example proceeds the special edition 5'' variation that was Mfg. 1998 only, according to the 1996 Mfg date in Colt's data base. This Colt Custom Shop 5'' barrel variation was not factory catalogued & according to the consigner there were only 125 produced making this example extremely rare for said reasons. The left side of barrel is stamped ''COLT ANACONDA -- 44 MAGNUM -- ''. The Colt silver medallion, checkered rubber grips are excellent. The stainless steel finish is excellent. Bore is minty. The frame holds a white outline ''U'' notch rear sight & front blade sight, with orange insert. This pistol comes in the original SN matching Colt blue plastic case. FFL Req. - Value: 4000 to 6000
