Winchester, Model 1894 TAKE-DOWN, CAL: 38-55, MFG: 1912, SN: 536503, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' Octagon Barrel. Full Mag. The original wood stocks are excellent & solid. There are several minor handling marks, scratches & dings to the original finish. The barrel & mag retain 90% of the original factory blue finish, with some speckled loss. The receiver displays 85% original blue, with additional loss on the take-down portion of the receiver & the forend cap. The case-hardened lever & hammer still exhibit faded case-colors. Bore is excellent. The barrel holds the factory adjustable rear & small blade front sights. Buttstock carries a smooth crescent metal buttplate. This is an overall excellent & original take-down 1894 rifle.* FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 4000 to 6000
