RARE DELUXE Marlin Model 1895, CAL 40-65, MFG: 1900, SN: 204197, Lever Action Rifle, 28'' 1/2 Octagon 1/2 Round barrel, 1/2 mag. The deluxe checkered & scalloped pistol grip wood stocks are excellent. The toe of the stock was broken & has had a professionally executed 3'' repair. The stocks' finish was very nicely restored, which was likely done at the time of the repair. The checkering is excellent & the stocks display wonderful grain. Overall appearance of the socks is excellent , with few light handling marks. The metal blue finish on the barrel & mag rates 95%, with a couple of minor spots of light speckling. The receiver, lever & hammer have all toned mostly gun metal gray, with a thin layer of brown patina. Bore is excellent. Barrel carries a folding leaf adjustable rear & blade front sight with a white bead. Buttstock carries a smooth crescent metal buttplate. This is a fantastic deluxe 1895, which presents with an overall excellent appearance & should be favored amongst collectors.* FFL or C&R Req - Value: 4000 to 6000
