Marlin, Model 1893 Carbine, marked .30-30 Cal., MFG. 1921, SN: C1176, Lever Action Carbine, 20'' round barrel, Full mag., Original wood stocks are very good & solid, with several handling marks, dings & scratches. The original finish has worn thin at the wrist & forend, along with some additional flaking on the stock. Metal blue finish is 50% on barrel, toning brown, & worn mostly gun metal gray on mag. Some muted smoky remains of the original case-colors on the case-hardened receiver & lever. Barrel carries an adjustable rear sight & blade front sight. Stock carries a crescent metal buttplate. Bore is very good with strong rifling. Tight action. This ould be a fun vintage carbine to shoot & hunt with in an inexpensive & popular caliber. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1000
