J. Livingston, Under Lever Double Hammer, CAL: 8 Bore, MFG: 1880's, SN: 204, Lever Break Action SxS Shotgun, 34 3/16'' barrels. The original, checkered round knob wood stock is very good & solid. The lower portion of the stock was at one time lightly sanded & refinished, with added protective oils & finish contributing to darkening. The buttplate & silver oval nameplate on the belly are slightly proud to the wood, but the wood/metal are flush around the receiver & trigger guard. The laminated steel barrels have a browned finish & the ring laminated pattern is clearly visible. The side plates are case-hardened, with faint tones remaining in heavily protected areas. The lever/receiver has been buffed to gun metal grey, with spotting & speckling toned to a brown patina. Bores are excellent, with intermittent roughness & visible striations from honest use. The solid rib holds a single front bead. Stock carries a widow's peak smooth metal buttplate. A Belgian made shotgun from the 1880's. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 3000
