Springfield Armory, Model : 1898, Cal: 30-40 Krag, MFG: 1900, S/N: 305267, Bolt action rifle, 22 3/4'' Barrel. The military straight wrist wood stock is good, stock has been cutdown & re-shaped, rear sling mount plug has be filled with a wooden plug, cutout in top of stock for buttplate screw has been filled with a wooden plug, light nicks, nicks, dings, dents, & wear from use/age. The metal finish on the barrel rates 75% with light wear & lightly thinned bluing, the finish on the receiver rates 60% with some spots worn to a gunmetal gray & thinned bluing. Left side of the receiver is marked ''U.S.'', ''MODEL 1898'', ''SPRINGFIELD ARMORY'' & S/N. Bore is good, bright with lightly thinned rifling & light roughness. Bead front sight with aperture rear sight. Rubber buttpad, bottom sling studs. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
