Loewe, Model: Argentino 1891 Cavalry Carbine, Cal: 7.65x53mm, MFG: 1895, S/N: A7022, Bolt action rifle, 17 3/4'' barrel, The straight wrist wood stock is very good with light nicks, dings, dents & wear from use/age, faint S/N mark on right side of stock by S/N on receiver, & it appears that it could match but most of the numbers are too faded to read, faint cartouche on top of upper handguard, faint cartouche on right side of stock by cheek weld. The metal on the barrel & receiver has toned to a even gunmetal gray with notes of patina. Left side of the receiver is marked with proof marks, ''MAUSER MODELO ARGENTINO 1891'', ''MANUFACTURA LOEWE BERLIN'', top of receiver is marked with a slightly worn but still visible Argentine coat of arms, right side of receiver is marked with S/N, top of barrel has a proof mark, right side of barrel is marked with S/N, S/N matched bolt & barrel. Bore is good, clean & bright with thinned rifling. Barleycorn front sight with protective wings, V-notch ladder rear sight marked 4 to 14, metal buttplate with light patina. bottom rear sling bar. Antique, No FFL Req - Value: 400 to 800
