MAS, Model: MLE 1949, Cal: 7.5x54mm French, S/N: F 39003, Semi auto rifle, 23'' Barrel. The semi-pistol grip wood stock is very good with minor wear/scratches, chip in upper handguard by muzzle, left side of stock by sling bar is marked with S/N, faint cartouche on right side of stock by buttplate, S/N marked on bottom of forend. The metal finish rates 90% overall with light wear/scratches, left side of receiver is marked ''MAS'' ''MLE 1949'', ''CAL 7.5'', S/N. Bore is very good, bright with light roughness. Thick blade front sight with protective ears, red paint added to front post, tangent aperture rear sight marked 2 to 12. metal buttplate with wear. Has rod bayonet, comes with period correct leather sling, & original mas 49 recoil pad dated 1951. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 1000 to 2000
