BOXED Colt, Police Positive, CAL: 38 S&W, MFG: 1919, SN: 181981. Double Action Revolver, 4'' barrel. The right side of the barrel is marked ''COLT'S PT F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CONN. U.S.A.''. The left side of the barrel is marked ''COLT POLICE POSITIVE 38''. The left side of the frame is marked with the Rampant Colt logo behind the cylinder release. The full SN can be found on the frame & cylinder swing gate. The original, Colt marked checkered wood grips are excellent. The factory metal blue finish rates 99%. Bore is excellent & bright. The barrel holds a blade front sight. Comes in the original factory box, with full interior labels, wax paper & Special Instruction pamphlet. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1500
