BOX & CASED, Colt, Model KING COBRA, (AA3660), CAL: 357 MAGNUM, MFG: 1992, SN:VK1234, Double Action Revolver, 6''' barrel. First introduced in 1986, the Colt King Cobra is a medium ''V'' frame double-action revolver made of very hi-grade carbon steel & featuring a six round cylinder. The bright blue finish of the initial offering in both 4'' & 6'' lengths were offered from 1986-1992. It was marketed to both aw enforcement agencies & civilian firearms enthusiasts. Two subsequent offerings of this model were later produced, however collectors gravitate to thees early production models, which subsequently demand a higher collector value. The left side of barrel is stamped ''KING COBRA''. The right side ''357 MAGNUM CARTRIDGE''. They came with Colt gold medallion Pachmayr black checkered rubber grips, with finger grooves. The grips on this example are excellent. The high polish blue finish is 100%, excellent. Bore is excellent. The solid rib barrel holds a screw height adjusting white ''U'' notch rear sight & front blade, with the serrated orang insert. This gun comes with original blue plastic case, in the original numbers matching outer sleeve box, with hang tag, packaging & instruction manual. Excellent overall & highly collectible.
