Winchester Model 1887, CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1890, SN: 21200, Lever Action Shotgun, Rare 32'' barrel. The standard address/patent dates marking are stamped on the lower tang. The round pistol grip wood stock & two piece forearm are very good & solid. They exhibit numerous minor scrapes, contusions, nicks & dings. The right forend tip is missing an edge sliver of wood along the bottom, which has been nicely smoothed & rounded. The metal finish on the barrel & mag has worn mostly gun metal gray, with spotty remains of brown patina. The receiver has toned to a gray/brown patina rating 60%, with edges worn silver. Bore is good, with roughness & spotting. Barrel carries a single front bead. Buttstock carries a less common checkered widow's peak metal buttplate. LOP: 12 3/4''. Comes with a copy of a Cody Winchester Factory Records Letter confirming configuration & shipping dates as part of a 34 arms order. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 800 to 1500
