Winchester, Model 1873 Saddle Ring Carbine, First model, .44 WCF Cal., MFG: 1876, SN: 12445, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' Round barrel, Full mag. Early first model ''Thumb Print'' dust cover. Wood stocks are excellent, solid & original, with original finish. The wood has nicely aged as it has darkened some from use, handling & protective oils. There are a number of minor handling marks & contusions, mostly on the forearm. The original metal blue finish has an even aged brown patina on the barrel & mag & with it thinning some on receiver. Bore is excellent. Metal carbine buttplate, with sliding trapdoor. Original flip rollover rear & pinch band front sights. Comes with a Cody Factory Records Letter confirming configuration & dates. A very nice original condition & desirable first model 1873 SRC.* Antique No FFL Req. - Value: 9000 to 13500
