WONDERFUL Winchester, Model 1876, 50 EXPRESS Cal., MFG. 1884, SN: 31815, Lever Action Rifle, 26'' Round barrel, Full mag, The wood stocks are excellent, solid & original with few minor handling marks, scratches or contusions. The majority of original factory wood finish remains. The factory high luster metal blue finish on the receiver is retained at 87%, 85% on barrel & mag. The case-hardened lever & hammer still display muted case-colors. Dust cover is marked ''WINCHESTER EXPRESS 50 CAL. 95 GRS.'' The bottom of the brass shell lifter is stamped with the caliber ''50-95''. Barrel fitted with an adjustable rear & small blade front sights. Bore is excellent, shiny & with strong rifling. Stock carries a sliding trapdoor crescent metal buttplate, with a 4 piece cleaning rod stored inside. There is a small dent in the bottom of the mag tube. Comes with a Cody Winchester Factory Records Letter confirming configuration & dates. This is a fabulous & highly collectible 1876, which is rarely found in this level of original condition.* Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 18000 to 24000
