Winchester, Model 1885 Low Wall Rifle, Marked .32 SHORT Cal., MFG. 1892, SN: 58104, Lever Action Single Shot Rifle, 26'' Round #1 marked barrel. The original wood stocks are very good & solid, with the original factory finish thinning from use. There are several minor contusions, handling marks & scratches. The forearm has the ebony inlay at tip & the # ''22'' stamped on the inside. The original metal blue finish has toned to a gray/brown patina & remains at 60%. The case-hardened receiver, block, lever & buttplate are all gun metal gray, with a thin brown patina. Bore is excellent. The rifle is fitted with a flip-up tang sight, with slide adjusting aperture, with the barrel carries an adjustable rear & Marbles Sheard front sights. Metal crescent buttplate. The # ''1'' is stamped in front of the forend tip on the barrel. There is a sling loop mounted on the barrel. A good looking 1885 rifle, in a fairly rare caliber.
