Colt, Lightning Small Frame, Marked: 22 CAL, MFG: 1904, SN: 87878, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel, The original straight grip wood stocks are very good, displaying minor surface scrapes & light contusions to the original finish. The forend is the smooth variety with border lines. The original high polish metal blue finish rates 85% overall, with thinning & spotting. Bore is good, with rough spotting/pitting amongst strong rifling. The upper tang holds a large disc Lyman peep sight, while the barrel holds a fixed rear sight & blade front sight. Buttstock carries a Colt marked checkered buttplate. An excellent condition & very collectible .22 rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
