Winchester, Model 62A SPECIAL GALLERY, CAL: 22 S, MFG: 1955, SN: 369646, Take-down. Pump Action Rifle, 23'' Round barrel. The original straight grip wood stocks are excellent, displaying minor handling marks to the excellent factory finish. The metal blue finish rates 98% overall, with small handling scuffs on the right side of the receiver. The loading tube carries a rare, more desirable short triangle shape cartridge slot. Another nice addition to this quality 62 Special Gallery is a very crisp, ''Winchester Trade Mark'' imprint on the left side of the receiver. The barrel holds a standard adjustable rear sight & blade front sight. Buttstock carries a Winchester, checkered black plastic buttplate. Comes with a gallery counter attachment spring that appears to fit over the front barrel & mag tube. These were a safety mechanism when being used in a gallery.
