Fazakerley. Model: SMLE NO 4 MK 1. CAL: .303 British. MFG: 1941-48. S/N: PF40020. Bolt action Rifle. 25 1/4'' Barrel. The semi-pistol grip wooden stock is very good with Three possible arsenal stock repairs, one right behind metal wrist on top of stock, one on left side of stock on top above magazine, & one on upper handguard right In front of receiver, age/oil darkening & normal scratches, dings, gouges & wear from use/age, cartouche on right side of stock by buttplate, it reads, ''512'', arrow pointing up, ''1169'', all in a circle. The barrel & receiver metal finish rates 65% overall with scratches & spots worn gray. Left side of wrist is marked with S/N, right side of wrist is marked with un-readable markings. Left side of receiver is faintly marked with electro pencil, ''NO4 MK1 (F)'', ''9/48 PF 40020'', Front of barrel is marked with import markings, S/N matched bolt. Bore is very good, bright with light roughness. Front blade sight with protective wings, rear ladder aperture rear sight marked 3 to 13. Military brass trapdoor buttplate. Bottom sling swivels. Action opens back up if closed with force, we recommend getting inspected by a professional gunsmith before shooting. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 300 to 600
