BOXED, Winchester Model 62, marked 22 S.L or L.R., MFG: 1939, SN:87887, Pump Action Rifle, 23'' round barrel, Take-down. The original factory straight grip wood stocks are excellent. Early cigar shaped forearm. The original finish condition is excellent, with several tiny to small finish level blemishes or handling marks. The original metal blue finish is 97% on barrel & receiver, 95% on the mag tube. Bore is excellent. Barrel is fitted with factory sights. Factory buttplate. Comes with the desirable early picture box, with end label, purchase card & string. Box has a cool shipping label on the front for the Hollywood Calf. Sears, Roebuck & Co.. Box condition is very good, with soiling & most exterior wear around the corners or edges. The lid has added interior corner structure & some glue repairs.
