Stevens Arms Company, Model 56, CAL: 22 S.L.LR, MFG: 1950's-60's, SN: NSN, Bolt Action Rifle, 24'' Round barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stock is excellent, exhibiting the original finish. There are a few minor contusions & scratches to the stock & forend tip. The metal blue finish on barrel & receiver has 90% of a thinning & toning brown patina. Nickeled bolt, bolt handle & trigger. Bottom of the barrel is stamped ''STEVENS BUCKHORN RIFLE''. Bore is excellent. The barrel carries an adjustable rear sight & elevated gold bead blade front sight. Stock carries the original grooved plastic buttplate. Original 10 round detachable magazine. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 500
