CASED SET OF 2 Sharps 4-Barrel Pepperbox Pistols, 1) C.Sharps, 4-Barrel Pepperbox, CAL: 22, MFG: circa 1860's-81, SN: 52688, Single Action, 2 1/2'' barrels. The carved Gutta Percha grips are excellent, with light wear. The brass frame has a thin aged patina. The barrel have worn to metal gray, with spotting toned to brown patina. Bores are good, with intermittent pitting. Small groove & bead sights. Rotating firing pin appears to function correctly. 2) C. Sharps 4-Barrel Pepperbox, CAL: 32, MFG: 1860's-81, SN: 2683, Single Action, 2 1/2'' barrels. The birdshead wood grips are excellent. There are contusions & dings to the finish. The frame & barrels have evenly worn to a mix of metal gray & brown patina. Bores are fair, with consistent roughness & worn rifling. Groove rear sight, missing blade front sight. The rotating pin rotates twice, then stops. Both pistols come in a custom wood case, with red interior. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
