Marlin, Model 1895, CAL: 45-70, MFG: 1976, SN: 24072682, Lever Action Rifle, 21 7/8'' barrel. The original straight grip wood stocks are very good & solid, despite the wood being very dark & most of the original finish being worn or lightly sanded.. The stocks displaying contusions & dings. The metal blue finish has worn to a mix of gun metal gray, with maybe 20% remaining blue. Bore is excellent & bright. The receiver is factory tapped for scope mounts. The barrel holds an adjustable rear sight & blade front sight. Buttstock carries a Marlin checkered plastic buttplate, with a small chip at the toe. The stock has ''Bullseye'' trademark in belly of the stock & carries sling studs. FFL Req. - Value: 400 to 800
