Sako, L579 (Action), CAL: 308, MFG: Early 1980's, SN: 326527, Bolt Action Rifle, 24 1/4'' barrel. The custom cheeked & flat pistol grip Monte Carlo stock, is excellent. It has a rose wood forend tip & pistol grip cap in the style of a Weatherby stock. It has a great fit & contour in the hand & at the shoulder. It features an attractive grain pattern, with minor scrapes & dings to the finish. The metal blue finish rates 98% overall. Bore is very good, with strong rifling. The receiver holds a set of Redfield 1'' scope rings. No open sight provisions. The buttstock carries a Pachmayr ventilated recoil pad. Sling studs. A great looking & custom stocked Sako rifle in a popular big game hunting caliber. FFL Req. - Value: 700 to 1200
