J. Stevens Arms Co, Stevens 325, CAL: 30-30, MFG: 1947-49, SN: N/A, Bolt Action Rifle, 21 3/4'' barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stock is very good, as lightly sanded & nicely refinished. It displays very few minor contusions & scrapes. The metal blue finish rates 60%, toning to a brown patina in areas of thinning or loss, with rust spotting & speckling. Bore is very good, with intermittent spotting amongst proud rifling. The barrel holds an adjustable rear sight & ramp elevated blade front sight. Stock carries a grooved plastic buttplate. Detachable mag doesn't always lock into place & there is some separation on one of the outer seems, may need some adjustment or repair. Fairly rare as only made two years & in three revised models. This rifle is the predecessor to the better known Savage Model 340. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
