Colt, Lightning Small Frame, Marked: 22 CAL, MFG: 1902, SN: 69217, Pump Action Rifle, 24'' Octagon barrel, The original straight grip wood stocks are very good, as sanded & refinished. The forend is the smooth variety with border lines. The original metal blue finish on the barrel rates 60%, toning to a brown patina, with thinning & spotting. The receiver has worn to a mix of gun metal gray & a spotty thin brown patina. Bore is fair, with rough spotting/pitting amongst worn rifling. The barrel holds a fixed rear sight & small blade front sight. Buttstock carries a Colt marked checkered plastic buttplate, which fits a bit proud to the wood. A neat old early .22 pump rifle. A.) If you signed up and asked us to bill your credit card & ship all items ASAP then that is what we will do. No further notice will be sent.
