Remington, Model 25, marked 25-20, MFG: 1923-36, SN: 24158, Pump Action Take-down Rifle, 24'' round barrel. The original flat pistol grip wood stocks are excellent & solid. The finish is very good, but with thinning areas of wear or scuffs, some spider webbing & minor handling marks. The original metal blue finish rates 98% on barrel & mag, 95% on receiver, with a couple of spots of discoloration around the extraction port. Bore is excellent. Barrel carries the original adjustable rear & small blade front sights. Remington stamped crescent metal buttplate. These smaller caliber & light weight pumps were popular for small game & varmint hunting & most saw heavy use. Less than 32,000 Mod 25 rifles produced in the two caliber, 32-20 & 25-20. An overall very nice condition & quite collectible rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 1000 to 2000
