Remington, Model 8, marked .32 Rem Cal., MFG: 1936, SN: 69399 (Very late production), Semi-auto take-down rifle, 22'' barrel, 5 shot fixed magazine. The original factory wood stock & forearm are good & solid, however the straight grip stock has been non-professionally modified with the addition of a flat knob pistol grip, which encloses the lower tang. The rest of the wood carries the factory finish, which has thinned, with some flaking & several small scrapes, scratches & contusions. Metal factory blue finish is starting to tone gray & remains at 60% overall. No bluing remains on the crescent metal buttplate. Receiver carries a flip-up Lyman tang sight, while the barrel carries a King adjustable rear & standard front sight. Bore is very good, with some roughness amongst strong rifling. Tight action.
