Winchester, Model 62, .22 S. L. or L.R. Cal., MFG: 1937, SN: 55834, Pump Action Rifle, 23'' round tapered barrel. The original straight grip wood stocks are very good & solid, with the original finish having wore thin or is flaking. The stock has a 2'' grain crack at the left buttend & there are several other minor scratches, scuffs & contusions. The barrel is a Winchester 62A stamped replacement barrel, carrying an oval ''P'' stamping. The metal blue on the barrel rate 70%, while the receiver & mag tube have worn gun metal gray. There are areas of light pitting speckling. Bore is very good. Rifle fitted with standard sights. Stock carries a Winchester plastic buttplate. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 250 to 500
