Winchester, Model 62, .22 S. L. or L.R. Cal., MFG: 1938, SN: 76925, Pump Action Rifle, 23'' round tapered barrel. The original straight grip wood stocks are fair, with a 2'' crack emanating from the lower tang, which causes the stock to fit a bit loose. The forearm also has a 2'' grain crack & a couple of small gouges. The stocks carry the original finish, having wore thin & have minor scratches & contusions. The metal blue on the barrel rates 50% & 30% on receiver. The metal has areas rust pitting, cleaned pitting & scrub brush marks. The mag tube has several contusions & abrasions. The mag tube inner appears to be a replacement. Bore is clean & bright, but has a ring about mid barrel. Rifle fitted with standard sights. Stock carries a replaced plastic buttplate, with the bottom toe to screw missing. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 200 to 400
