Stevens, Favorite 1894, CAL: 22 LR, MFG: 1894-1916, SN: 026, Lever Action Rolling Block Single Shot Rifle, 22'' barrel. The straight grip wood stocks are good, displaying the orignal finish below an added layer of finish. There are numerous small scratches, scrapes, nicks & dings. The stock may be a correct replacement, as it shows some gaps between the stock, tangs & receiver, which contain a filler. The metal finish is a mix of worn remaining blue & added cold blue, with some areas worn to metal & a brown patina. The top of the barrel is marked in two lines, ''J Stevens A&T Co. Chicopee Falls Mass. USA. PAT. APR.17.94''. Bore is fair, with pitting amongst thin rifling. The barrel holds a fixed notch rear sight & blade front sight. Stock carries a Stevens Favorite checkered buttplate. Loop present on take-down screw. FFL or C&R Req - Value: 100 to 200
