Hopkins & Allens, Model ''Forehand'', CAL: 12 GA, MFG: 1901-17, SN: 18904, Break Action SxS Shotgun, 32'' Laminated steel barrels. The original checkered round knob wood stocks are good & solid, displaying scratches, scrapes & dings in the original finish. The laminated steel barrels have toned to a mix of gun metal gray & brown patina, with spotting. The receiver is case-hardened, toned to a mix of brown patina & metal gray, retaining faint case-colors in protected areas. Bores are good, but with spotty areas of roughness. The solid rib holds a single front bead. Stock carries a H&A checkered buttplate. Double triggers. Matching SN's on water table, base of barrels & underside of forend. The break lever has play & the barrels/ action breaks open too easily. The lever & barrels would likely benefit from some knowledgeable adjusting. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 150 to 300
