F.N. Browning, Superposed, CAL: 20 GA, MFG: 1959, SN: 16018, Break Action O/U Shotgun, 26 3/8'' barrels. The original checkered & straight grip wood stocks are excellent. The stocks have been nicely refinished, displaying minor contusions & scrapes. The metal blue finish rates 80% overall, with much of the loss in the handling areas toning to metal gray, with some scratches & blemishes. The receiver, trigger guard, break lever & forend break release lever all display a simple border engraving. The bottom of the trigger guard has two sets of initials in two lines ''JCF'' over ''AJL''. Bores are excellent, near mint. The ventilated rib holds a small mid-rib bead & front bead. Buttstock carries a solid leather wrapped recoil pad. This mid century O/U presents very well. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1800
