L.G. & Y. Model: 1861 Contract Musket. Cal: .58. MFG: 1863. S/N: N/A. Percussion Muzzleloader. 40' Barrel. The straight wrist wood stock is very good with crack on left & right side of stock behind rear barrel band, scratches, dents, chips & wear from use & age, Cartouche on left side of stock above trigger. Metal parts are gun metal gray with rust speckling, lock plate is marked ''1863'', ''L.G. & Y. WINDSOR-VT'', ''US'' eagle, Barrel is marked ''1863'', ''V'', ''P'' over eagle. Bore is good with light pitting. Barleycorn front sight, three position U-notch rear sight. Metal buttplate with rust speckling, hand marked ''XXV'' on upper tang & ''US'' on upper tang. Rear sling swivel, comes with ram rod. Muzzle loader No FFL Req. - Value: 200 to 400
