Zbrojovka Brno. Model VZ 98/22. Cal: 7.92x57mm, MFG: 1922-24. S/N: C3062. Bolt Action Rifle. 28 5/8'' Barrel. The Semi Pistol grip wooden stock is very good with scratches, chips, dents, gouges, vice marks & wear from use/age, Bolt disassembly disc in stock. The metal finish rates 30 % on receiver with spots worn to a gunmetal gray, The metal finish rates 10% on barrel with spots worn to a gun metal gray. Left side of receiver is marked with proof marks, ''23'' & S/N, top of receiver is marked ''CS.ST.'', ''ZBROJOVKA'', ''BRNO'', end of barrel is stamped with importer marks. Bore is very good, bright with some light roughness. Barleycorn front sight, V-notch tangent rear sight marked in Turkish. Metal buttplate that's worn mostly gray with spots of rust & is proud to wood is spots. Bottom sling swivels, has cleaning rod & comes with bayonet. A good 8mm Mauser shooter.
