Kokura Arsenal. Model: Type 99. Cal: 7.7 Jap. MFG: 1939-1945. S/N: 75317. Bolt Action Rifle. 25'' Barrel. The semi pistol grip wood stock is very good with scratches, chips, dents, gouges & wear from use/age. The metal finish rates 95% overall with small spots of rust speckling. Left side of receiver is marked with S/N, arsenal stamp, top of receiver is marked with Intact chrysanthemum & ''Type 99'' In Japanese, S/N matched with bolt. Bore is very good, bright & shiny with thinning rifling. Barleycorn front sight with protective ears, Aperture Ladder rear sight marked 3 to 15, Has folding anti-aircraft sight wings & are marked 2 to 3. Metal buttplate with rust & brown patina. Side sling swivels, cleaning rod, RARE Original leather/canvas sling has hardened from age, monopod & early bayonet with Quillon & sheath. This is a really nice example of a early type 99 with most of the original accessories. FFL Or C&R Req. - Value: 500 to 1000
