Colt (unmarked), Model 1860 Army, CAL: 44, MFG: 1863, SN: 105448, Black Powder Percussion Revolver, 7 3/4'' barrel. The wood grips are good, with a small chip at the top of the left grip, smoothing of the edges, & handling marks. This is a nickeled gun, with gold washed accents. The revolver would have been first copper based over the steel, then nickel plated & then gold washed or plated. The guns shows the worn gold in more protected areas, with most of it on trigger & loading lever. The nickel finish is about 80% with spotty areas of wear. The cylinder shows some the most wear, exposing some of the copper beneath. The loading rod has been pined & does not move, this may have been done year after it was made, it is possible the loading lever has been replaced? Bore is good with some roughness. Black Powder, No FFL Req - Value: 400 to 2000
