French Cavalry Officers Percussion Pistol by Chatellerault, Model 1833, First type, Signed Mre Rle de Chatellerault, caliber 16 mm or 69 cal., MFG: 1850's, SN: NONE, 7 1/2'' barrel, This is a fine, antique pistol in very good condition. The checkered wood grips are very good, with small dings, crapes & handling marks. Cartouche stamped on the left side panel. The metal has toned mostly gun metal gray, with an even & smooth brown patina. Bore is very good, with fine grooves. Lanyard ring & ram rod. Appears to function as it should. Excellent example. Antique, No FFL Req. - Value: 800 to 1200
