Winchester, Model 1892 Custom Built, CAL: .357 Mag, MFG: 1903, SN: 224055, Lever Action Rifle, 19'' Round Barrel, 3/4 mag. The original wood stock is very good, after having been lightly sanded & refinished. There is a resin repair to the lower left side corener of the wrist. The forearm is excellent, with excellent original finish. Both the stock & forend have minor handling marks, scapes & contusions. The barrel & mag tube are custom replacements, with the barrel stamped 357, no roll stamp. The metal blue finish rates 70% overall. The rifle carries a side mounted Lyman 55C receiver sight, while the barrel carries a Redfield blank filled rear dovetail & a folding globe front sight. Bore is excellent. Metal crescent buttplate. Tight smooth action. A very nice custom built 357 caliber carbine. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
