BOXED, Marlin Model 39 Century Limited, CAL: marked 22 S, L & LR, MFG: 1970, SN: 11936, Lever Action Rifle, 20'' Ooctagon barrel, full mag. The right side of the receiver displays a brass Marlin 1970 medallion & the buttstock has a small oval brass plate that reads ''39 Century LTD Marlin 100 Years''. The straight grip wood stocks are excellent, with several light handling marks to the original finish. The is some small edge flaking to the stock where it meets the metal at the receiver & buttplate. The original metal blue finish rates 98% overall, with some areas of haze & light speckling developing. Bore is excellent. The barrel holds an adjustable rear sight & blade front sight. Buttstock carries a smooth crescent brass buttplate. Production of almost 35,000 rifles. Comes in original box, with internal packaging& outer sleeve. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 700 to 1200
