Marlin, Model 336 R.C. Carbine, marked .35 Rem Cal., MFG. 1960's, SN: T22760, Lever Action Carbine, 20'' round barrel, Full mag., Original capped pistol grip wood stocks are very good, with several minor handling marks or contusions to the original finish. The stock carries 10 decorative copper tacks on the right side of the forend, 6 more on the right side of the stock, & a dozen more around the edge of a buffalo head carved into leather. The original metal finishes have worn gun metal gray, with large areas of cleaned pitting on the left side of barrel & mag. The rear sight is a Marble's full buckhorn, while the front sight is a ramped hooded blade. Bore is very good. Stock carries a replaced Remington metal buttplate. Gold wash on trigger mostly worn away. Marlin bull's-eye missing from stock. Tight smooth action. A vintage hunting lever with character. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 400 to 800
