Winchester, Model 70, CAL: marked 30-06 SPFLD, MFG. 1960 (Pre-64), SN: 464802, 24'' Round barrel. The factory checkered & flat pistol grip wood stock is very good, but the factory finish is well worn, with the majority of finish either flaked off or worn thin. There are several light contusions, rubs & scratches, as well as a vintage compass install into the upper comp close to the buttplate. The original metal blue finish rates 30% on barrel, while the receiver, floorplate & trigger guard are worn mostly gun metal gray. Bore is excellent. The receiver carries a vintage Bushnell Sportview 3x-9x 32mm scope , while the barrel is fitted with a folding leaf rear sight & ramped front sight. Stock carries the checkered plastic buttplate. Sling swivels. A well used pre-64 model 70 hunting rifle, with hunting trips left in it's future. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1000
