Remington, Model 8, .35 Rem Cal, MFG. 1909, SN: 16308, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel. The original straight grip & schnabel forend stocks are excellent. There are a few minor handling marks scratches & contusions to the original finish. The original finish is thinned just a bit at the carry points, with a bit of added finish in those areas. There is a small grain pop to the left side of the toe. The original metal blue finish rates 80% overall. Bore is excellent. The rifle carries a Lyman flip-up tang sight, while the barrel carries a Lyman blade front sight. There is a small dent in the barrel in the area of the roll stamp. The stock carries a Remington checkered plastic buttplate. 4 round fixed magazine. Tight action. An overall excellent & original condition rifle. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 800 to 1200
