Remington, Model 8, .35 Rem Cal, MFG. 1910, SN: 18814, Semi-Auto Rifle, 22'' barrel. The straight grip & schnabel forend stocks are excellent. The stock could be original, but could also be a factory replacement, as there is a small gap at the end of the lower tag. There are a few minor handling & marks to the finish, which appear to carry an older professional refinish. The metal blue finish is an older professional refinish, which rates 90% on the barrel. 85% on the receiver. Bore is excellent. The rifle carries a Williams rear mounted receiver sight, which requires 2 additional holes & use of the factory hole to mount. The barrel carries two filler screws in the rear provisions & a Lyman elngated blade front sight. The stock carries the popular serrated, bottom tang Remington crescent metal buttplate. 4 round fixed magazine. Tight action. Sling eye in the stock & sling loop in the forearm. An good looking standard rifle in the popular hunting 35 caliber. FFL or C&R Req. - Value: 600 to 1000
